Since 2022 the Austrian four-piece rock/metal outfit EGONS CRY delivers energetic guitar riffs and hard hitting drum grooves that lay the fertile ground for their melodic vocal lines and intense lyrics.

Following a variety of influences, such as Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Audioslave or Pearl Jam, they explore the vast borders of their own musical identity and drag their audience into a world full of personal stories, conflicts and challenges that all of us are facing on an everyday basis.

EGONS CRY are Chris Köckeis (Vocals, Guitar), Konstantin Speil (Guitar), Constantin Kaiser (Bass), Roman Baier (Drums).

Seit ihrer Gründung 2022 liefert die vierköpfige österreichische Rock- und Metal-Formation EGONS CRY energiegeladene Gitarrenriffs und knallharte Drum-Grooves, die den fruchtbaren Boden für ihre melodischen Gesangslinien und intensive Texte legen.

In Anlehnung an ihre Einflüsse wie Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Audioslave oder Pearl Jam, loten sie die Grenzen ihrer eigenen musikalischen Identität aus und entführen ihr Publikum in eine Welt voller persönlicher Geschichten, innerer Konflikte und Herausforderungen, denen wir alle täglich begegnen.

In summer 2022 they released their first single "Days Of Thunder", taken from their debut EP "PHOENIX" that followed in 2023. The six songs on the EP are an explosive blend of hard rock, metal and pop, that will leave you wanting more. From the anthemic title track "Phoenix" to the encouraging "Trust", their EP is a tour de force of heavy music that cleverly incorporates modern sounds and classic rock elements. Their signature sound is both timeless and contemporary and creates a varied listening experience for rock enthusiasts, metal heads and melodically oriented listeners alike. For their debut they teamed up with producer and recording engineer Mike Wolff (melonFM productions, Kontrust) and Tonherd Studios (Josh., KEB, Phiora, ...) and set the stage to leave their marks in Austrian rock music.

Im Sommer 2022 veröffentlichten sie ihre erste Single "Days Of Thunder" von ihrer Debüt EP "PHOENIX" , die 2023 erschienen ist. Die sechs Songs der EP sind eine explosive Mischung aus Hardrock, Metal und Pop und machen Lust auf mehr. Vom hymnischen Titeltrack „Phoenix“ bis zum ermutigenden „Trust“ ist ihre EP eine Glanzleistung der Musik härterer Gangart, die moderne Sounds und klassische Rockelemente geschickt miteinander verbindet. Ihr charakteristischer Sound ist zeitlos und schafft ein abwechslungsreiches Hörerlebnis sowohl für Rockenthusiasten und Metalheads als auch Zuhörer:innen mit einem Ohr für eingängige Melodien. Für ihr Debüt haben sie sich mit dem Produzenten und Toningenieur Mike Wolff (melonFM productions, Kontrust) und den Tonherd Studios (Josh., KEB, Phiora, ...) zusammengetan und die Bühne bereitet, um ihre Spuren in der österreichischen Rockmusik zu hinterlassen.
